Some people enjoying interacting with others on blogs – these are online journals where stories or subjects can be shared with readers over weeks, months or years. Popular blogging services include Tumblr, WordPress and Blogger.
Blog stands for Weblog and you can customise your blog to use it as a website by making your homepage static (see the section on blogging for how to do this). Blogs contain Pages – for content that doesn’t change and Posts – where you can add new content and have it feature on the homepage of your blog.
If you find yourself reading a blog you really enjoy, you can add comments and questions at the end of a story. In fact, most authors want readers to respond.
